Will the Academy help me get a job?

The IDOL courses Academy offers several tools to help students prepare for, and land, their IDOL Dream Job.  The program includes:

  • Lessons to guide students in preparing job search assets such as a portfolio of work samples, their resume and their social media profiles.
  • Program coach feedback on assets created.
  • Lessons on job search strategy and interview preparation.
  • Community and mentor support on job search and interview preparation.
  • Unlimited volunteer experience opportunities.
  • Occasional paid experience opportunities.

In addition to the support to prepare for a job search, Academy students have exclusive access to jobs listed with IDOL Talent (https://www.idolcourses.com/jobs).  IDOL Talent is a staffing agency which specializes in filling instructional design, learning development and related roles.  IDOL Talent only accepts candidates who are alumni of the IDOL courses Academy. We do not guarantee job placement as part of our program.
