What tool to use for storyboarding?
Content over Tools - Focus on the content of your storyboard and don't stress about what tools you use to create it. You should use whatever tool makes you productive and helps you to convey the information in your storyboard.
Microsoft PowerPoint (or Google Slides) is often used for creating storyboards because it is so common and so easy to use. It allows great flexibility for adding both text and graphics. Here is an example PowerPoint storyboard template from the IDOL Academy.
Microsoft Word (or Google Docs) is also a good choice for storyboards that do not need graphics.
