Conduct Policy

At IDOL Academy, our authorized online vocational school, we believe in creating a safe and respectful learning environment for all IDOLS. As such, we have established the following code of conduct policy, grounded in our core values of love, learning, empowerment, integrity, fun, and initiative:

1. Respectful communication: All interactions, whether in live sessions or through online forums, must be respectful and professional. Discriminatory or derogatory language or behavior will not be tolerated.
2. Responsibility: IDOLS are responsible for their own learning and behavior. This included learning, creating, getting and giving feedback, attending mentor sessions, reaching out for help in the community, and following all school policies and procedures.
3. Academic integrity: We expect all IDOLS to be honest and truthful in all their academic work. Plagiarism or other forms of academic dishonesty will not be tolerated.
4. Digital safety: IDOLS must maintain a safe and secure digital learning environment at all times. Any threats or acts of harassment, bullying, or cyberstalking will not be tolerated.
5. Professionalism: IDOLS are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times, whether in interactions with instructors, staff, or other IDOLS. This includes appropriate language and behavior.
6. Positive engagement: We believe that learning can be enjoyable and collaborative. IDOLS are encouraged to participate in online discussions, group projects, and other activities that promote engagement and interaction.
7. Initiative: We encourage IDOLS to take initiative in their learning and to seek out opportunities for growth and development.
8. Technology suite: IDOLs are not allowed to use Lectora and CenarioVR for commercial projects and applications. However, the assets from the library can be used. Any attempt to work around or abuse the technology suite that is included in their program will not be tolerated.
9. Copyright infringement: IDOLS are not allowed to copy, reproduce, or repurpose any of our online content to share online for free or paid purposes. We reserve all copyright to our school content.
10. Confidentiality: IDOLS are not allowed to share any information about what happens in our private community outside the online community. Any breach of confidentiality will not be tolerated. \

Violations of this code of conduct policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion from IDOL Academy. We are committed to working with all IDOLs to create a positive and supportive digital learning environment, and we expect all IDOLs to adhere to this code of conduct policy.

The policy for readmission after dismissal from IDOL Academy will depend on the specific circumstances of the dismissal. Generally, we will consider readmission requests on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the reasons for the dismissal, the length of the dismissal period, and the student's demonstrated willingness and ability to comply with our code of conduct policy and academic requirements.

Students who have been dismissed from IDOL Academy must contact our admissions office to discuss the possibility of readmission. They will be required to demonstrate that they have addressed any issues that led to their dismissal and that they are committed to upholding our code of conduct policy and academic requirements. Depending on the circumstances, they may also be required to complete additional academic or behavioral requirements before being readmitted.

It is important to note that readmission is not guaranteed and will depend on the specific circumstances of the dismissal and the student's demonstrated willingness and ability to comply with our policies and requirements.
