Do I need to purchase any software for the Academy?

You do not need to purchase any tools or software to become an IDOL in the IDOL courses Academy.

Some of the tools you may encounter in IDOL courses Academy are:

Articulate Storyline: Articulate has a 30-day FREE trial which covers both Storyline 360 and Rise 360. The Academy includes free access to the Storyline for IDOLS course
Articulate Rise: Articulate has a 30-day FREE trial which covers both Storyline 360 and Rise 360. The #DoItMessy jumpstart course has you build a course in Rise.
Adobe Captivate: We do have a primer on how to use Adobe Captivate. This is not a required tool for you to land an IDOL job. However, they too have a free trial you can use.
Video Editing: Camtasia has a free trial and you can use that to create a sample video for your portfolio and to learn the tool.

Learning Materials and Our Templates: Almost all of our templates are Canva templates that you can use with the FREE version of Canva. You can also use Canva for almost all of your visual and graphic design needs when building course materials.

Vyond Animation Software: Access to Vyond Enterprise is FREE to all Academy members. You'll get access to Vyond after you submit a Vyond storyboard to our Academy Coaches and request access to the software. You'll get 3-hour blocks of time to work on your projects. You can sign up for as many time blocks as you need to complete each animation project. And if you need additional training on Vyond we have you covered in our IDOL Movie Magic course!.

PowerPoint Templates, Icons, Stock images & videos, Illustrations, etc: You get access to Envato Elements for FREE in the Academy. You get to send up to 5 links for download per week! You can get professionally designed assets for your course materials so you can look like a pro without having to spend all the time creating custom graphics.

Website Builder: We teach you a couple of ways to get your website up for your portfolio. One is google sites (FREE) and the other is WordPress.org. We give you access to a website builder for WordPress called DIVI for FREE in the Academy and in the Portfolio Course.
