How long will it take to go through the program?

At IDOL Academy, we are proud to offer a one-of-a-kind 12-month program in Instructional Design and Online Learning Development.

The first 24 weeks are lock-step lessons to equip you with a solid foundation. You'll access the online gamified training, attend a live practice session, and submit any milestone assignments to the Academy coaches for a pass/fail assessment. Each week requires ~10 hours of time commitment from our students. Most of this time is for the application and practice of what you are learning that week.

At the end of the 24-week curriculum, you'll submit your materials to Academy Coaches to qualify for graduation with the CPLP. When you pass the coach review you'll sit for an exam. Passing the exam graduates you from the IDOL Academy and you're then put on the Job Readiness Track.

The Job Readiness Track is where you'll get career coaching, resume reviews, mock interview sessions, and support during the job application process. 

Most students take 1-2 months to land their job after graduation due to the long interview cycles in this field.
