What are the technology requirements?

Students of IDOL courses Academy provide their own computing equipment or device for accessing program content, student communities and online resources.

Most IDOL courses Academy program content can be accessed from any device via a modern web browser and teleconferencing application.  

Some program activities require specific software applications that students will download and install on their computer.  In these cases, the free version, or trial version, of the application is sufficient.  

Each application has its own requirements – all applications will work on a fairly recent Windows computer.  Some applications will work on a fairly recent Macintosh computer, and some will work on a Mac with a Windows virtual machine (i.e. Parallels, VMWare, VirtualBox etc).
